“I have witnessed the powerful benefits of massage when treating Hospice patients. This healing intervention helps to support the patient and their love ones as they go through the transition.”

As a wellness practitioner since 1987, I have focused on stress management and prevention. Stress has been linked to physical, emotional, and spiritual “dis-ease” in our lives and bodies. Medical research has shown that stress can create unhealthy situations and premature aging. Body and mind therapies, like massage and meditation, produce the Relaxation Response to aid the body in healing itself. The immune system is at its best when relaxed. These prohealth care tools can decrease anxiety and depression, lower blood pressure, enhance sleep, increase energy, and improve joint flexibility. I believe the whole person must be addressed mind, body, and soul to be completely well and live a balanced life. My desire is also to share knowledge of self-care that will promote peaceful and compassionate healing lifestyles in communities.
